day 3

shall blog abt bkk day 3 now! decided to separate day 3 and 4 in two posts cos i realised its gonna be quite long if im to compile them tgt. so well!~ here goes!

we decided to explore siam paragon on the third day! heard that some of the stuff there are relatively cheap too, and the mall is quite new and huge, so we wanted to check it out. we took their mrt down to the mall!! we had to change 2 trains to get to siam.

we have reached! after some walking abt in teh mall, we realised that the shops inside the mall are those high end shops! so basically, theres nth much to explore ard, unless u have the MONEYYYYYYYYY

we walked past this shop and i was so enthralled by this whole glass panel of colourful polariod cameras!! ahhhhh so pretty, i wanna get all home!!

we went down to their basement to search for fooddddd cos we were hungryyyyy!~ their basement is actually a food haven cos the whole level is just food food and more food. and we saw breadtalk! so cool, spore brand eh!!

there are alot of desserts and pastries in the basement of the mall!!

we spotted red velvet cupcakes too!!

and i think this is super cool and cute! its actually century egg and ? i dont know what's that haha but it lookds special i almost wanted to try. lol

ahhhhhh we gt mango sticky rice again!!!!!

we saw that there was cinema in the mall! excited were we when we went to check it out. wanted to watch the dark knight rises there in the mall but we had to queue up to buy their m card! and their queue is rather long, so we decided to skip it, sadly.

disappointed cos we did not make it to the movie, but we bought their popcorn! hahaha consolation to us~

so after walking in teh mall for some time, we decided there's nth much to explore, and so we decided to make it down to platinum again! hahahhah plat mall day#3 shall start again. have not yet explored their levels 3, 4 and 5, so i had to 加把劲!!!

views outside of platinum mall. as u can see in the pics, the traffic in bkk is super bad! so its quite a torture sometimes when we were trapped inside the taxi to get down to platinum mall, esp when the taxi driver purposely switched off the air con in the taxi to save money! oh man

and spot their taxis, those in bright pink colour! spore should have pink taxis too! haha

the thing abt plat mall is, the whole mall is categorized into diff levels, with each level selling the same stuff. so u can expect a whole level full of shoes, and another level full of accessories. and im not kidding, one whole level selling only accessories? ya, shopping haven i would say. perfect for shopaholics like me. hahaha

this is one shop full of shoessssssss!! wooooo!!

after shopping for some time, gene and i went down to baskin robbins to get their ice cream, cos our legs were moaning for us to rest (for awhile). hahaha their ice cream is super sweet! and there's really chunks of cheesecake and caramel bits inside. super yums!

we gt this huge plastic bag to store all our shopping loots inside. the salesperson helped us squeeze all our shopping bags inside, and we were very amazed cos this bag is really good, it seemed like we can stash in almost everything in there!

back to platinum mall again! ahaha shopped till we were dangerously out of cash by then. lol not kidding. we had to cancel our initial plan to go down to the dome cos we were kinda cash strapped after exchanging anotehr $50 each. lol

we had our dinner again in plat mall!! these 2 dishes were super good!!

our second mango sticky rice for the day. haha!

platinum mall for u!!!

we decided to take their tuk tuk back to our hotel!!

after some negotiating with the tuk tuk driver, we cut down the price to 120 baht for a 10 min thrilling and exciting ride back to our hotel! almost skipped this ride cos i think its kinda ex, but i decided to try it in the end. and its a good choice cos i really love the ride! the traffic was good that night and the tuk tuk was really fast!

yay i love tuk tuk!!!

boo:( back to our hotel!! i think the night is still young leh! but gene told me there shall be no night activity cos thailand can be quite dangerous at night, and there's basically nth much to do alr.
