its a long long holiiiii!!~ yes, im so enjoying the long holi:) if only we can have this once every few months!

my sis was wearing a bright pink pants on a random night. and i realised its the exact same colour as my mattress sheet!! so my sis went to lie down on my bed to show that she can kind of camouflage with the bedsheet. and she asked me to take a pic of her. LOL normally i wouldnt want anyone to lie or sit down on my bed..but aiya just let her camflouge for that few mins. and it fits in well with the pink bedsheet!!!

im back with pics of ice cream!!! HOHOHO gene suggested to buy a pint of ice cream that day, and i chose caramel biscuit and cream!! and man~ its a really good choice taht i made!! the first time i tried haagen-dazs, and it left me with a really good impression!!:):)

was kinda guilty after many mouthfuls of the ice cream that i decided to leave it and eat it another time. and gene ate my share and finished the whole pint by himself!!!!! roarrr!~ this goes to show how good it is le ba!! HAHA

some days later, we had gelare!! cos we saw they have promotion and could not resist our temptation after dinner HAHA but i concluded that gelare ice creams are not as comparable to haagen-dazs and ben & jerry...although the waffle is nice and thick!!

and last sat, we met up with yi sheng! it was his birthday that day!! lol and so we went to ding tai feng as a bd treat for him!

the 3 of us wore different shades of green that day..dun believe scroll down ahahaha~

after which we went to watch live soccer match ard one of the football clubs along clarke quay. it was the first time i ever went inside a football club, and i must say, i kind of gt a shock! the whole place was so packed!! and there were so many whites..and omg they were cheering and singing newcastle's song so loudly and in sync although i couldnt really make out what they were singing exactly. and when newcastle scored, the whole place was like crazy. i joined in and shouted with the crowd for fun, but seriously, my shoutings sounded so feeble and was drowned by theirs!! lol~ we chilled ard the area for some time before heading back home. wished i have taken pics to show u guys, but the place was too packed alr!!

and my cousin has just gave birth to a baby boy! time really flies past fast~ although my cousin is a generation older than us, i always regard her as just an elder cousin. so its quite hard for me to digest the fact that she is now a mother of a baby!! so happy for her yea!! to me, marriage is a determinism and a symbol of love between a couple. a baby that is created not only mean its another stage for the married couple, the baby itself also signifies the crystallization of the love between both persons, so much so that when u look at the baby, you are reminded of your partner and the love that is shared between both of you. therefore, i think that babies is a neccessary part of marriage. that is why no matter how painful and horrendous it is gonna be giving birth, i would still like to have a baby with my partner in the near future. if not...two!:):) haha~

this is such an outdated post! was dragging it cos of school and cos theres sooo many pics to upload!! haha i shall give the blog of mine some life now!

went to the jurong bird park with yi hong and grace on a saturaday!! was chatting online with yh on friday night and we were discusssing where to go. and i asked her if she wants to go JBP. lol came up with the idea of going there cos i saw a news report on TV saying that singapore JBP is going to send a few of its penguins over to china. and i wanna see those penguins!! lol and just nice, i realised i have coupons to JBP with 30% off!! lol so i called upon grace and a few others. but the others couldnt make it cos it was just too impromptu le. so we decided to go in threesome!!:) i have not went to JBP ever since when im 5 yrs old? cant rmb. most people dun like to go to JBP cos what comes to mind is only just birds and more birds. they would rather go zoo. lol but since i have visited there not too long ago, its jurong bird park's time!!:D

so cool right, there are so many penguins over here!! and penguins really know how to choose, they are able to enjoy the air con in this heat!

grace said she likes this penguin! it wobbled and stood right in front of the mirror and opened its flippers!! kinda a showoff!! hahaa 

flamingoes!! they are the only bird i remembered seeing when i first went there lol

we were just in time to watch one of the performances!! it was really a hot and humid weather, sitting there with the masses is kind of a real torture lol

they allowed the viewers to come down and take pics with the birds after the show! and we went and queued up for it!! heeehehe so scary luh the bird~ i dun really dare to go up close with it hahaha

this penguin is so cute can!! its called 'rockhopper'...and as the name suggest, it is unlike other penguins which walk. rather, it hops!!

we entered the "world of darkness"!! and we saw this owl!! 

i told them i feel like pulling the crwon of this bird..lol looks so exquisite!!

and so nice!! grace spotted this peacock which opened its feathers for us!! really gorgeous~~

yay! feeding time!! someoen passed us a small bowl of rice water to feed the birds over there..and each of us gave it a try in feeding the bids!!

we spotted BOTTLETREE there!! again!! hahhaha the 2 of them wants to hug it!!

let me hug it another time ba!! HAHA

and we continued to walk...and saw the ostrich!! was kind of excited to see the ostrich cos it is a big bird. i kind of like huge birds..cos they seem more magnificent to me...lol just like vultures!~ btw, the 2 ostrichs are so cute right! i think they know people are taking pics of them! they are indeed attention seeking bunch, smiling at the cameras!!

we have come to the peligans pond!! so many of them!!

they looked so fake!! but one thing that surprised me was that, the beaks of the peligans shake non-stop!! they have loose skin on their beaks so as to catch and hold fishes!!

grace told us theres a huge waterfall at the JBP. how could we miss that!! that was our last stop for the day! waterfalls are indeed breath taking!~ and its so cooling standing in front near the waterfall!

had ben and jerry after that!! we were all so so tired and didnt really want to move an inch lol so we shared ice cream among ourselves!! 6 flavours in all!:):)

yay! and we called it a day at the jurong bird park! tiring, but indeed fun and interesting!! so much for a random idea to visit the JBP!!:):)

that was before the holis...and now that school has officially started, im starting to get busy again. but i bet everyone of us is too! so lets all aja!! year 3, here i come!!!
