bestie is going to denmark for exchange for 5 weeks, and she requested for one good treat from me for her farewell lol...initially we agreed on royal china after looking up all the good reviews on the net, but we were too late to make reservations!! they were all booked for the 2 sessions when i called to book. ahhhh sad cos i was really tempted to try their egg yolk cake and liu sha bao!! :(:( so, with no royal china, we were undecided on where to eat alr. we decided to to carry on with our initial place and gt down esplanade, and decided on jack's place for the treat in the end!!

we ordered these 2 dishes to share!! told the waiter to place both plates in the middle haha

gt attracted by their marble cheesecake in a cup, and so we gt that dessert to share after our meal. and its so dainty and interesting! see the cup! the whole cup is actually made of choc!!!

we heard there's a flea quite near us at marina mandarin hotel, and so we went to check it out. we had some trouble finding the exact place, but we gt it after some asking ard. this was the interior design of the hotel!!

and we seriously never expected that the flea was such a huge one. there were so many teenage girls there queuing to get in!!! omg the first time i went to these kind of flea and i felt so overage standing in line with them haha. it was kind of a major event cos there were some fleas set up by some famous bloggers, one of whom is bong qiu qiu! mad crazy at her stall, yh and me were like totally squashed up with the girls just to catch her $0.50-$5 items. lol in the end, we did not manage to get anything from her stall cos we could not move much around her stall to see what she was selling. lol but i managed to take a pic of her! lol i took this pic when yh and i were in the process of being squashed. haha u can imagine how crowded and "cozy" that was.

saw this online and i think it is so true! take some time to reflect on the words.

gene tagged me this pic! this is so so true! our #love-hate r/s with food will always exist, esp when u are in love LOL thats why new couples will get fat most of the time.

and yesterday, i went to the airport with yh's family to send her off! brought my polariod camera along and took some pics to give her for her trip (in case she misses us LOL). enjoy and remember to take care! miss you!! xoxo

NEW ENTRY NEW ENTRY!!!

gene and i decided to cook fried rice one fine day (i bet he is tempted after seeing the fried rice that i cooked on father's day lol). that day wasn't a really good one cos after all the ingredients were prepared, we found out there that the gas had finished! major-bummer right!!!! so we improvised and used the electric heater to cook it. turned out that the egg was chao ta cos i could not manage the heat well enough and cooked it with high heat. #super duper major fail and pek chek. luckily the end product turned out not bad! if not i would be super sad cos i always wanted it to be the best. conclusion: i still cook the best fried rice when i cook it at my own house, cos im alr used to the pot and the cooking stove at home.

gene was in charge of cooking the rice!! he's the best when it comes to washing and preparing the rice alr, so i always let him do the job. haha! #practice-makes-perfect!!!:):)

didnt take the picture of the fried rice cos i was too pek chek to remember to take a pic of the end pdt. but gene and his mom commented that its not bad! can taste the individual rice bits and gt abit of the chao-ta taste so it was kinda good! hahahaha blessing in disguise okayyyyyy~~~

my relatives bought us some snacks from their trip to malaysia and this one was especially cool! see the snack wrapper!! chicken bisuit bites. haha

gene's mom bought a few of these beancurds for us to eat! and the brand was so funny and cute!!! chi ni dou fu!! ahhaa

HAHAHAHA snapped this when gene came out of the toilet to show me his face. it was too funny alr i laughed like mad when i saw him. hahaha cute la cute la!!:P

met up with yin yin and si ting before they fly off to korea for a month!! we decided to eat at pepper lunch cos yy had cravings for it! haha

ahhhh i love this teddy bear app!! so cute isnt it!!

my sis was back from korea ysd, and before she returned, she has alr sent back a box flyflown back from korea. my small sis and i were so excited to open it!!! and there's a lot of snacks hidden inside those winter clothes and jackets!!!

but my small sis could not let me open up any of the snacks cos we had to wait for sis to return before we could eat =.= such a torture!!

tried this photography app and it required me to take 36 pics in total to filll up all the squares to form a shape. sadly, the app failed on us, or maybe it was cos we did not know how to use it lol but my sis had to pei he me and do 36 different poses!! >.<
