Family Day at ECP!!!

had a family gathering with my maternal relatives last Sunday. we decided to have a potluck at ECP! when u go to ECP, u cannot miss out cycling. and so, the few of us went to rent bikes and off we went! it was a sunday so there were more people then. not a very good day for cycling but how can u not cycle right!

cycle cycle cycle! one good thing abt ECP is, the route is rather long so u can cycle until u are shuang. haha and how can u miss out cycling when there is the sun and the sea breeze blowing at u? incredible.

ok not too late after this pic was taken, my sis fell down from her bike and gt herself in a rather nasty fall. reason was her cap flew off while she was cycling and in her frantic attempt to catch hold of the cap, she lost her balance and fell. omg and then....*cryyyyyyyyyyyyy* luckily my bro and i were beside her and managed to hold her up. there were also 2 kind ladies who offered wet tissues and plaster for my sis. couldnt thank them enough. and so, we brought her to the first aid station near us and the volunteer helped my sis to bandage her leg. was kinda surprised cos there were only minor cuts and he went to bandage the whole kneecap up. lol

went to play frisbee after that!!!

ya that's my sis with her bandaged knee. injured liao still can jump...tskkkk

lost my concentration playing frisbee after a while cos this place caught my eyes. lol. so we decided to stop our frisbee and went to check it out. 

the people there were catching small fishes and crabs at the shallow water there!!! interesting. 

we were looking out for small fishes in the water.

and it was this exact place in which i slipped and felll!! so stoopid and embarrassing cos in my excitement and curiosity, i went to walk in the pool of water and i didnt notice there was a layer of algae on it and it was super slippery. sheesh, disgusting having to bathe yr bum on algae while the rest were laughing away. but i shall not talk abt it alr. it was a terrible experience. luckily my phone still managed to survive (though it was abit sot for awhile) although it was drenched! this is the only one good thing that came out of it.

i think family gatherings like these should be held frequently, cos most of the time we are all busy with our stuff and hardly have a chance to meet up. so family gatherings like these are good opportunities for us to catch up as a whole family. thats the whole purpose of family gatherings, no?:)

and its GSS time!!!! spotted this huge neon lighted sign in town. haha so full of "GSS feel" hur!!
