wanted to try out porn's for some time already...its opened by local actor pornsak and heard  several good reviews abt it. so a few days back, gene and i went to bugis with the intention to try its thai food!!! the both of us love thai cuisine, so its a great eating place for us to try!!

reached there and found out its still not open for biz! lol we still had an hr to spare. so we went to the dessert store some doors away from porn's and had their famous mango sago! yes, its the exact place where yi hong and i went to try out their yam sago a few weeks back. now, i ordered mango sago! and it tasted different from the mango sago u gt from other dessert stalls. this one is superbly tasty!!!

yay! after an hr, porn's is finally open for dinner!! couldnt keep the excitement brewing. haha i still told gene that we might be the first customers since we went there right at the time it opened. but no! it was alr abt half occupied when we went in.

ok, so while we were waiting for our food to arrive, gene told me that he read an article on FB which talked abt how to look good in photos. so, the trick is to shift yr face slightly to the right so that the left side of yr face will be more prominent. and so, the both of us tried that trick while we were waiting for the food. lol

so is there any difference? O.O

HAHAHA so funny pls. was feeling awkward cos the restaurant was small and kinda packed so i was so self conscious to smile for the camera to smile properly. 

okay enough of us playing with the angles. food was finally served up!! woohooooooooo!!~

gene with thai milk tea. he said that this drink was super cheap in thailand!!

the restaurant is actually quite small, so it has gt the cozy feeling. look up and u will see this curtain draped across the ceiling. at first i thought we were sitting al fresco, but then it hit me that there was glass ceilings at the top. haha

ok! these were what we ordered! 

green curry~ this was abit too oily for my liking. but gene liked this though!

zoomed in. everytime i zoomed in at a food, it instantly seems more professional looking. hahahaha

we gt this to try just because it has gt such an interesting name to it: drunken mama noodles. there was no pictures of the food, just the name on the menu, so we gt this to try to see how it turned out! dont really like the taste of the sauce though. 

this is prawn fritters! (forgt the exact name alr), but this was nice!!

and last but not least, at the bottom right hand corner, we had phad thai!! ordered quite alot huh! we were eating halfway when i looked up to see pornsak walk passed us from the back door!! *surprise surprise* gene was sitting with his back facing him at that time, so i was like shaking gene's arm and saying "omg, pornsak, pornsak!!" lol i think im only the one in the shop who was so excited to see him. the others like no rxn de leh. and pornsak was at the cashier all the time when we were eating. lol wanted to take a pic with him when we left but i was too paiseh to make a move. so aiya, wasted!!!

and so, when i gt home, i told jun abt the angle thingy when taking photos. and she wanted to try too! hahaa

jun's friends came over for another grp meeting at my house today. and this time round, they were to make poster for the proj. ahhh looking at them reminds me of the groupwork when i was in sec sch. haha
