hello hello!! here are part 1 of this week's updates!!

decided to follow a recipe i found online to try for gene: strawberry jelly sweet tarts. my oven was spoiled, and thus i have to find a recipe that does not require baking. and lucky me, i found this!! so i bought the ingredients and roped in jun to make with me.

jun was having a fever that day so she didnt go to sch. and she was more than willing to help play along.

melt da' butter!!!

mix the butter with the biscuit crumbs!!

sift icing sugarrrrrrr

mix the sour cream, icing sugar and vanilla essence tgt!! it was only when i have finished mixing the mixture that i realised that i put in one tablespoon of vanilla essence when it is stated as one teaspoon. LOL luckily theres not much diff to the taste, to my relief haha

notice the diff shapes of the strawberries!! so cute arent they??:) haha

pour in the tortally mixture!! woo~ so pretty!!!

after putting it in the freezer and chilling it for some hours, i took it out and saw to my horror, the tortally jelly has seeped into the biscuit layer!!:( majorly sad cos i know that means the biscuit layer is ruined. true enough, the biscuit layer is soggy and thus, didnt taste nice. but then, everyone commented that it tasted not bad! that includes gene, my mom and bro. lol jun didnt like the taste of sour cream so she only had a bite. lol that kind of lifted my spirits a little, and made me decided that im gonna give it a second attempt! the second try will be up in the next post btw:) haha

went to my ex-student's place to take back some of her assessment books cos she has alr graduated and do not need those books again and so i can recycle and use those assessments on my other students. this is her pb!! hahhaa

on fri, gene came over to my place after my tuition. wanted to go out with him initially, but jun still had her fever, so i had to stay at home. and gene and i went to sports sch hill in the evening!!
