as promised, my next post is gonna be about my chinese new year!! so here goes!

chinese new year eve

as usual, my family had steamboat reunion dinner! my family and i all love steamboat, so it was great! cos we gt to choose and buy all the ingredients that we like!

chinese new year!

went to my ah ma house to pai nian! the small boi is my nephew! so little and cute!! he kept on coming over to sit with us and wanted to join in the fun when we were playing cards

i never take much photos this year though haha so tahts all the pics i took for day 1 haha!! i went to gene's ah ma's place on day 1 too and we played poker! i decided to play with $5 and in the end i losed $.50 though i felt taht luck was on me that day ahah

day 2

after so long, my relatives alr have a pattern of going to whose house, and on which day to visit every cny...and my paternal relatives will come to my house every second day of cny. my cousins decided to play cards! i have a big family, so while the adults are out in the living room talking, we kids will steal a corner and play (ok la, im not an adult anymore but i still join in the fun) lol and playing cards is a great bonding game!!

after that, we went to my maternal relatives' house to bai nian!

here is jun and the baby swing..i was highly doubtful that the swing can bear her weight lol

the second day of cny was also my 22nd birthday! lol so coincidental..and i feeellll soooo oldddd alrrrr:'( shall talk about my ageing another time though..lol so, after visiting my ah yi's place, gene and i left for our own time tgt. and for my bd, we decided to dine in at buffet town!!:) heard some good reviews about it, and so we decided to give it a try:) luckily we decided to pay a visit there cos we did not make any reservations for it and when we called, we were told that it was fully booked for the night. and prob it was my bd luck, cos they were still open for walk-in customers when we reach there just to try our luck! yay! the only con was that, the bill for the 2 of us was super ex! i dunno if it was due to cny period or their huge gst, but *blurps* we underestimated the price lol
