gene and i have our dinner at MOF nex! we decided to try that cos the previous trip to lena's was satisfying enough for us to try their franchise branch!!:):) --

gene sat facing the mirror! wrong choice...i should be the one sitting there!! haha

they served us tea the first thing we sat down..good service i would say...but this pot of tea is charged! i tot its free cos they just placed it on our table!!:x

gene ordered this beef sugiyaki! the soup was kind of bitter at MOF...duno issit something to do with the veggies! beef sugiyaki is still nicer with a sweet broth! gene's hand is so dark in the pic! omg like charcoal le la!!:O

-- -- and i gt my unagi hotpot with avocado and tofu...so special right..with avocado! haha their menu suits mi cos they have a list of food items under 'unagi' section! a must have for unagi fan like mi!!:):) --

-- -- by the time we finished our main course, we were already quite full...but we still have desserts! haaha MOF desserts is a must try ma..gene gt his matcha soft serve ice cream!

i ordered matcha milkshake...too sweet and full already by the time my dessert came to my table! im also a great matcha fan and azuki red bean fan! therefore, i love their combi of matcha azuki gelato...it is superb!! *stomach bursting by the time we finished our dinner* haha our take: lena's is still better than MOF!! ---

-- ok..now moving on to today...we decided to eat steamboat at home cos its going to be my dad's birthday soon! so kind of celebrated with a simple dinner when everyone is present!!

chanced upon this song and i think the lyrics are so meaningful...it is after i researched that i realised that this song was written by 2011 Amerian Idol castoff Chris Medina. 2 months before his wedding, his fiance was involved in a terrible accident that gave her traumatic brain injury. He still stands by her side, hopeful for a miracle. the first time i heard this song, i knew that it has its own story to tell. its so touching that i teared. do watch the video and read the lyrics. its beautiful and meaningful, yet saddening altogether.

gene and i ate at lena's at nex! their food is superb!:) and they have a lonnngggg list of menu..we had quite a hard time deciding what to order haha..they oso have a menu just for dessert! omg!

i wan to try this! rice ball with cheese stuffed inside! but gene dun realli like this..so i had 3 of them to myself! one of the cheese riceballs cost $1.60 i think:/

went to eat at douby gaut famous korean food too! this time round, i tried their steamed saba set! tasted not bad too!!

dined in at mad jack one fine evening! gene tried the thumbs-up on their menu: fish and chips! the flesh is fresh! but its a tad too small!:(

and i gt my grilled fish with HONEY (weird combi right) and mashed potato! love their mashed potato to bits cos its so creamy!:)

breakfast at long john..cappucino to jolt me awake! toot hair with toot specs...but who cares luh~on a morning like this..settle breakfast first!:x

gene and i went to army market to buy army backpacks! hoho! i gt the typical one, and gene gt the bigger one! heheeh can backpack to school le lo!!:)

after which, we went to their nearby cofeeshop to eat..there are several stalls which serve veri delicious food! like this hokkein prawn noodles! i chose this stall esp cos it has the most no. of newspaper reviews! ahhaha typical consumer behaviour righttt..but good choice lei! gene kept on saying he love this prawn noodles!!:)

we also ordered sa guo fan! $5 shared between the 2 of us! tastes quite nice!!

after which we ended off our dinner with ah ballling tang yuan! i love ah balling ttm!!!!:):) satisfying dinner i should sae..hawker food is cheap and nice!!

and so fastttt...half the recess week is already gone! omg! i kept on thinking its still monday when its already wednesday!!:/ arghhh i shall start with work soon!!

i love projects, essays, and midterms!!!

gene and i went to ps, great world city, and vivo, 3 malls in a day ysd!! haha

we decided to go for party world at night..and went for their 2 hr package at the vivo branch..and it amounted to $40+!! so ex to go on a weekend!!:O but yea, its the 1st time we went to sing k tgt!!:):) haha

"hello, im the gingerbread man!"

hahaha!! so cute right?! this is my tuitee's. she has to bring it out during lessons everytime. but its quite good la..cos i gt to play with it when shes writing!!

zoom in. lol. u will be happy just by literally looking at it. cos no matter what, it will laugh back at u with its clown-ish grin!!:)

met up with may lan to cut hair! initially wanted to cut at kimage so as to utilise the voucher that we were given. we thought its free cos its stated there as "free protein treatment with haircut". but den, it turned out that we have to pay $45 for the haircut, only then would the protein treatment will be free=.=" they are obviously playing with the words!!=.=" $45 to cut bangs and trim is seriously too expensive...so ml and i decided to go somewhere else and cut!! ahahah

we came to this salon and its so cheap can! they also offer brow trimming!!

ahaha i seriously lack hand and eye coordination when taking mirror shot!!:O forget about the weird look on my face...note the huste and bustle behind me! the salon is so crowded can!!

ml has this application on her iphone which allows her to take pics of diff shades and frames! so cool! so we were playing with it and took several shots ahhaa

omg~~its march already!! so fast!!:O march oso means its going to be recess week soon! coupled with mids and projects!!:O

met gene on fri after school and we went to eat at the cafe cartel cos nex's branch is so nice! comfy seats like taht of restaurant city somemore ahaha

gene got this carabona, with this cute egg yolk in the middle!

yolky and creamy..sounds quite gross...but it tasted not bad! haha

i ordered ham and turkey cheddar cheese sandwiches cos the menu made the sandwiches look so appealing...but when it was served to my table..it didnt look the same:x the sandwiches was hard and too salty to my liking!

haha! we gt this: apple crumble pie with vanilla ice cream as our dessert!:) veri nice cos the apple crumble was warm, so the combi with ice cream is goodddddd!!:)

for ysd, we went to marina bay sands in the evening. gt to go to see flyer up close! gene suggested taking the flyer...btu i think its not worth the money! 20 bucks for a super duper slow 30 min ride in a capsule!! so we just walked around the flyer...but apparantly, theres not much shops to see also...haha
