chanced upon this song and i think the lyrics are so meaningful...it is after i researched that i realised that this song was written by 2011 Amerian Idol castoff Chris Medina. 2 months before his wedding, his fiance was involved in a terrible accident that gave her traumatic brain injury. He still stands by her side, hopeful for a miracle. the first time i heard this song, i knew that it has its own story to tell. its so touching that i teared. do watch the video and read the lyrics. its beautiful and meaningful, yet saddening altogether.

reflecting on the lyrics, it made me realised how oftentimes, we take our loved ones for granted. we make promises when we dont keep them; we speak of harsh words when we really dont mean them. have we really stop and spare a thought for our loved ones at the receiving end and how they would feel?
