recess week has ended!:( i can alr foresee more work to be done as we near the end of the school term for this semester. well, i have not been doing much work during the recess week cos i kept going out (blurps). i hope work can finish by themselves!!!:o

went to vivo's pet store! saw this super active white chiwawa that was so energetic it kept jumping and running ard that i had a hard time snapping pics of it. so wowed by its strong legs cos it could really jump far and fast!!

finally a good take!! heh. the chiwawas look kinda scary to me though. 

tutee wrote this for me when we had our tuition last week. lol made my day really!:):)

yes my student:) i think i am too relaxed and friendly with them alr, cos most of the time my students keep talking to me and i had to pull them out of their relaxed zone and get them to do work again. hard for me to get angry at them luh!

so special right! lol tasted so so only though haha

gene tempted me with the thought of buying ben and jerry ice cream and we gt this new flavour to try for our dessert. LOL everytime we buy ice cream, i know it will be doomsday for me. LOL cos i can finish it unknowingly if i lack control. felt so guilty after gorging more than half of it!!

yay!! sleeping with pb baby! he seems to have his arms wrapped ard me. hahaha

have been forgoing my work during recess week and going out the last 2 days! shall blog abt them!!

ok, so since it is my recess week, i decided to go NUS to explore on wednesday! bestie shall be my tour guide for that day! haha i have to say she did a good job, bringing me around and introducing me all the places she always frequent, such as her "favourite study area" and where all the good food are. haha and so, she brought me to the newly built u town that i really love! we had our lunch there at a korean restaurant "hwang". bestie treated me to their korean lunch that day! hee!

hahhaa being a tourist in NUS land of cos have to take pics ard right! but its so weird cos im the only tourist that day and taking pics with the buildings, i bet people will give me weird stares. LOL so i have to find a quiet place to take pics...and we finally found this super chinesey place with this huge golden portrait!! yes its none other than their chinese library! LOL

and yh went to support her friend who was one of the helpers to do nail manicure. she had her nails painted bright red!! wanted so much to go for it too, but im too self concious of my short ugly nails !:( oh wellssssssss~~

and yesterday, i met up with grace and may lan for karaoke session!! yi hong was supposed to join us initially but she could not make it in the end. the meet up was a good time for all of us cos we were having our recess week and it was also the last week of 'holi' for grace before she start on her job hunting. and! the meetup was also to celebrate grace's bd!!

yay!! shall start to sing!!! LOL its been some time since i actively dl songs as compared to sec days. so i only know how to sing old songs! ml kept picking new songs that i did not know how to sing! lost with the music trends alr, i think im past that stage, i think im getting oldderrrrrr......

yoga time!!!:):)

cravings of salmon sushi acting up these few days. bought them consecutively for 2 days cos stomach was calling for it. 

anw, see the diff between the 2 pics? the difference of focus!!!

chanced upon a photo album on my mom's desk and saw some old pictures when we were young. and omgggg couldnt help laughing. think we were singing and dancing to some "bang-me" song before we sleep. LOL

LOOK AT OUR SHORT HAIRS!! hahhaa they were telling me that i looked like an auntie 12 yrs ago because of my wavy center-parting. hahahhaha

this, taken when i was 7 years old. see how tall and big i alr am at that age. LOL always felt super out of place in my pri class cos i will always stand out cos of my size. this was us taken during CNY! tallest to shortest..haha the last one is my cousin.

could not decide on where to eat, and finally settled on sth we had not tried before--shu tippan. loves the interior design cos the restaurant makes an effort to save space by having alot of cupboards and racks that can store cutlery and pots inside and make the space less cluttered. but the bad thing was that there was a dustbin right below my table! so everytime when the staff are clearing the dishes they will stash all the dishes into the dustbin right in front of me. it was also quite weird sitting side by side and have strangers sit across from u while u eat. gene and i were thus feeling kind of out of place there. LOL but other than these, the food were not bad. 

i gt their pork sliced teppanyaki. it came in this kind of hot pot in which the staff will help u cook the meat right in front of u. but i thought its quite easy and fun to cook it yourself, so i did most of the cooking. lol

gene had their shabu shabu!!

this was mine after it was cooked! the pork slices were actually 'san chen rou' which i dont dare to eat!! didnt realise that when i ordered it so when the hotpot was served to me i was like "oh man, i dont eat this!!!" but it turned out to be quite good! i just didnt like the jelly slimey feeling of the pork. but other than that, the sauce and the chao-ta taste was there, which made up for the fats. haha

yays to recess week!!

some updates for last week: 

toilet mirror shot with ivy! lol always forgt to take pics with the squash racquets to show that we are attending squash lesson! lol shall do so when sch reopen! lol 

poor us. always have to lug our bulky bagpacks with us on tuesdays! 

gene bought mooncakes for my family!:):) it was so good that we finished it even before the mooncake festival!!

i love this pic cos it is so candid! lol was experimenting with my cam effects when gene turned around and see what im doing. and *snap*!!!!

gene surprised me with this nail polish that he bought for me. a small gift but it made my day really:):)

we just had our 3 air cons changed cos they were faulty alr. and the whole house was super messy and dusty after the air cons were fitted in our rooms. had a tiring cleanup after that! but now it feels so good to sleep at night! oh i cant do without u, dear aircon. 

ta-da! this is the scorpion pose for u! was so proud that i have to show my mom and ask her to take a pic for me!! haha my shoulders were not straight though!:( shall practise more! woo-hoooooo!~
