MAN I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED MY EXAMS!!!!

it was such a long and dreadful wait...especially when my last paper is like the last day of NTU's exam?! but finally, its all over for good. and im glad to say, i have conquered year 2! haha

this is my table during my one of my revision days...i need long and wide tables when im studying...i dun like the idea of cramping all my stuffs...feels kinda suffocated! and indeed, i have made very good use of my already long "director" table ahhaa:D

after that, we went to swensens to have our dinner! gene has gt swensens voucher and so he treated all of us!:):) and we ordered lotssss of food!!

and this is our food. hoho i insisted we start to eat only after all the main dishes are served, so i can take a pic of all of them...so even though we were all hungry by then, we have to endure! and here u are! ahaha

and of course, not to forgt the desserts! hohoho the four of us shared the strawberry oreo yoghurt!

the 2011 GE has finally ended. was quite saddened by some of the results, although i have kind of anticipated how some of the results will be like even before they are announced. as much as i wanted WP to win and gain more seats in parliament, i think the stepping down of foreign minister, george yeo was a loss for singapore. not forgetting SPP's hero, mr chiam see tong. everytime i see his videos and all the people cheering for him, it will automatically bring tears to my eyes. when i was young, i did not understand why my mom and family always speak good of this man. to me, he is an unknown person, just an opposition member against the PAP, one which i automatically render as bad, just cos hes an oppositional member. i thought all who opposes the ruling party is just trying to cause social order and bring about communism. so much for those social studies and history lessons. but however, as i grew older, i finally understood why. for a man who has suffered 2 strokes, one would have expected him to retire from politics and rest. but mr chiam still want to risk his PP stronghold and challenge in GRC to win more seats in parliament in his bid to call for greater democracy. through his actions and commitments to PP throughout the 27 years in office, he has shown me the meaning of true selflessness and heroism. its thus saddened me that his wife's team lost to PAP by a mere 114 votes. some PP residents are now calling for a petition for a by-election for SPP. as long as PP residents are able to gather 8000 signatures, they are able to call for a by-election. this is the video link of some of PP residents, who went on a night walk to cheer for mr chiam:

its the month of may! i know i know..its so fast right!!:O

last sunday there was a family gathering at my aunt's to celebrate my ah ma's 81st birthday! my paternal family is very big, so u could imagine how crowded my aunt's place was haha! and there were so many kids! its kind of funny when u see different generations playing together! haha

was kinda caught up with the GE these few days...watching reports and essays and videos online..i will find myself lying on my bed every night and watch GE videos on my iphone until i cannot tahan anymore and my brain tell me to turn in for the night!:x but its a sad thing i cant vote..its only with effect till those born on 1st jan 1990:(:( to me, i never would have thought that i will be interested in politics..but as i read on, i find myself caught up with this whole GE controversy. i guess its important to have at least some knowledge of the country's political issues and not be apthetic as what many deemed the young generations to be. i do see an increasing trend of young adults starting to engage themselves in politics too, which i think is a good thing. i have my own opinions of the GE, but i shall not write it all down here. would rather talk it out. but i cant agree more that for a real democratic society, we need to have an oppositional voice, and not one that is dominated by the same group of people. people should vote according to what they think is right and stand up for, and not blindly following others or vote just because of fear. though i cant vote, i shall have to see the results on may 7! exciting much!:P

--have been kind of busy too managing extra tuition lessons with my students cos it is their exam period now..luckily their exam dates do not fall on the same week as my finals! if not i will be @_@!! other than that, pls pls plssssss let exams be over soonn!
